Dr. Sabine Bartsch
Sabine Bartsch is a senior lecturer in corpus and computational linguistics at TU Darmstadt. She studied English and Comparative Linguistics at Johannes Gutenberg-Universität Mainz and Exeter University before completing her PhD on collocations at TU Darmstadt. Her teaching at Bachelor and Masters level is dedicated to furthering students' interest and competence in corpus and computational linguistic analysis. In InsightsNet she is the project lead and is involved in compiling multimodal corpora and designing workflows for linguistic and multimodal corpus analysis.

Dr. Andreas Hamm
Andreas Hamm studied and worked in various fields of Theoretical and Mathematical Physics at the universities of Bonn, Essen, and Warwick. After many years as lead software developer for Business Intelligence solutions in industry, he joined the German Aerospace Center in 2018. There he is currently leading a project exploring the application of methods from the fields of text mining, data and network science to organisational and strategic tasks, which shares many research challenges with InsightsNet.
Dr. Tobias Hecking
Tobias Hecking received a PhD in computer science from University of Duisburg-Essen in 2017. He is currently leading the “Intelligent Software Systems” group of the Institute for Software Technology at the German Aerospace Center. His research focus is on theories, methods, and tools for data science particularly network analysis and applied machine learning for decision support, knowledge management, and intelligent user interfaces.
Dr. Jasper W. Korte
Jasper Korte studied Sociology, Political Science and Psychology in Berlin with a diploma in Sociology at the Freie Universität. He completed his PhD on the Medialization of the Social Sciences at the Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität in Münster. In InsightsNet, he works on the theoretical framework and the comparative analyses of the corpora.
M.Sc. Sivasurya Santhanam
Sivasurya Santhanam holds a master’s degree in Autonomous systems from Hochschule Bonn-Rhein-Sieg. His research focuses on applying Natural language processing tools and machine learning methods for Intelligent software systems. Sivasurya is currently pursuing his PhD on the development of conversational AI for software developers.

Dr. Wolfgang Stille
Wolfgang Stille is a mathematician and computer scientist. He studied at the universities of Heidelberg, Mannheim and Newcastle (AU) and completed his PhD at TU Darmstadt. As head of IT, Research and Development of ULB Darmstadt, he has been involved for many years with digital libraries, semantic technologies and innovative research methods and played a leading role in initiating the process for handling digital research data at TU Darmstadt. Since 2021, as CTO of the newly founded Hessian Center for Artificial Intelligence, he has been responsible for AI compute infrastructure and the AI Lab. He sees the transfer of cutting-edge AI research to economy and society as one of the great human challenges of the present.

Sherry Tan completed her bachelor's degree in Speech Sciences at the University of British Columbia and obtained her master's degree in Computational Linguistics at the University of Stuttgart. She is currently working on the building of multimodal corpus as well as developing annotation schemes for linguistic analysis. M.A. Elena Volkanovska
Elena Volkanovska holds a master’s degree in Technology for Translation and Interpreting from the University of Wolverhampton (UK) and the University of Málaga (Spain). She is currently working on creating and managing collections of multimodal data, developing annotation schemes to help improve the usability of data in machine learning tasks, and testing various tools for automated and semi-automated linguistic analysis.
